PRACTICE-A-THON PRIZE INFORMATION

GRAND PRIZE DRAWING for $100 off band tuition!

To be qualified for the Grand Prize Drawing for $100.00 off your MusicAlliance Band Tuition next school year*

Each person that practices at least 600 minutes and raises at least $60 for the Practice-A-Thon will have their name entered in the drawing once.

Each person that practices at least 700 minutes and raises at least $80 for the Practice-A-Thon will have their name entered in the drawing twice.

Each person that practices at least 800 minutes and raises at least $100 for the Practice-A-Thon will have their name entered in the drawing three times.

The winner will be chosen in one drawing, from a pool of the qualified MusicAlliance students. Winners of this prize are also eligible to select one prize from each of the other 4 prize categories (A, B, C, & D – see the prize list sheets for further details). The Grand Prize drawing will take place in March. *If the Grand Prize winner is currently an 8th grader, the money will be awarded toward this years band tuition.

Have one of the top 3 highest practice times out of all of the MusicAlliance schools.

Be one of the top 3 money raisers out of all of the MusicAlliance schools.

The winners of this prize are also eligible to select one prize from categories B, C, and D. The same person cannot qualify for this prize category more than once.

Have the highest total practice minutes in your school.

Raise the most money in your school.

Practice over 600 total minutes.

The winners of this prize are also eligible to select one prize from the C, and D categories. The same person cannot qualify for this prize category more than once.

Practice over 400 total minutes.

Raise more than $35 total.

Be the first person from your school to get 15 sponsors. If you get fifteen sponsors, have your parents call the MusicAlliance office at 440-205-0114 or tell your band teacher and they will call for you. You will need to bring in your sponsor sheet to your band teacher so they can verify that you have 15 sponsors.

The winners of this prize are also eligible to select one prize from the D category. The same person cannot qualify for this prize category more than once.

Participate in the Practice-A-Thon! (Everyone who participates in the Practice-A-Thon will receive a prize from Category D.)

SPECIAL BONUS REWARD! Two schools* will qualify for a Pizza Party:

The school with the highest average practice minutes (per participating students in their band program).
The school with the highest average money raised (per participating students in their band program).

The same school cannot win both pizza parties. In the event that the same school meets both of the criteria for earning a pizza party, the school with the second highest practice minutes will also win a pizza party. *Only eligible students who participated in the Practice-A-Thon will be included in the Pizza Party at the winning schools.
