Fundraising Opportunity #1: Obtain a monetary donation or sponsorship for MusicAlliance from a local business.  Band parents will receive a $30 band tuition credit for each $100 in monetary business donations or ad purchases they obtain. MusicAlliance is a 501c3 non-profit organization, so monetary donations are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. Businesses who make a donation to MusicAlliance will be acknowledged and listed by giving level for one year in the concert programs of the schools that we serve and in the concert programs of the regional honors bands that we operate. Businesses who buy advertising space will have their ad included with the band concert programs of all the schools that MusicAlliance serves & with the concert programs of our honors bands. 

Fundraising Opportunity #2: The 2007 Practice-A-Thon in which students get per-minute donations (or flat donations) for the amount of time that they practice their instrument at home during the 4 week period that the Practice-A-Thon is held (*January 23, 2007 – February 20, 2007). The Practice-A-Thon is a fun and beneficial event for students as they compete with other band members from their own school and from other schools.
